Collection: Coco Coir

Coconut coir, often known as coco coir, is a popular growing medium made up of brown and white fibers from coconut shells and their outer husk. The brown fibers are derived from older coconuts and are quite durable while the white fibers are taken from younger, less ripe coconuts and are more flexible. During each feeding cycle, coconut coir delivers nutrients to your plants directly and also retains nutrients so you don't have to water your plants as much as you would with hydroponics. You can find a selection of coco coir products below. If you have any questions about how to use this popular growing medium, the Midwest Grow Co team is happy to help.
