When you start learning how to grow plants, one of the first things that you learn is that there are two types of light sources: incandescent and fluorescent. Incandescent lights run on an electric filament. They produce a lot of heat, which is not good for inside your greenhouse. So naturally, most growers use fluorescent grow lights. But what type of fluorescent grow lights should you use? There are so many choices out there. There are T5, T8, CFLs, etc. as well as different types of fixtures from single bulbs to full racks of grow lights.
