About Us

At Midwest Grow Co, we're more than just a grow store — we’re a community of growers, dreamers, and doers who believe in doing things the right way. From day one, our mission has been simple: to provide the best products at the best prices, while treating every customer like family.

We know that each and every grower who walks through our doors or visits us online is trusting us with something important — their plants, their food, their medicine, and their passion. That’s why we treat every customer with the respect, honesty, and integrity. We’ll always go the extra mile to help you succeed, whether that means expert advice, honest recommendations, or even matching or beating any legitimate competitor’s prices.

We believe in growing clean, and living clean. That means we're big fans of organics, sustainable practices, and natural solutions — not chemicals and synthetics. We carry only what we believe in, and we stand behind every product on our shelves.

Whether you’re a first-time gardener or a seasoned grower, Midwest Grow Co is here to help you grow with confidence.

Hi, I’m Bob Penrod, owner of Midwest Grow Co. We’re an independent garden and hydroponics supply store in Paducah, Kentucky. I took ownership in 2025 with a simple goal: make this a place where you can ask a question, get a straight answer, and find what you actually need to grow.

Real help from people who grow

Growing your own food or setting up an indoor garden can feel complicated. We’ll help you sort through the choices, whether you’re starting a few herbs, building your first hydroponic system, or improving an established grow room. Tell us what you’re growing, the space you have, and the problem you’re trying to solve. We’ll work through it with you.

We grow at the shop, too. Our floating-tray garden has produced fresh greens right here in Paducah, and that hands-on experience is part of the advice we share. We believe a grow store should do more than sell you a box.

What you’ll find here

Midwest Grow Co. carries seeds, soils and compost, organic amendments, hydroponic supplies, nutrients, grow lights, tents, ventilation, pumps, meters, and propagation gear. We’re also the home of Ridgeline Organics, our own line of soil-building amendments, beneficial biologicals, and products made for growers who care about what goes into their soil.
