Your potted plants deserve the best. Their roots can't seek out nutrition in the ground, so you have to bring it to them. Happy Frog® Potting Soil is amended with soil microbes that can help improve root efficiency and encourage nutrient uptake.
With earthworm castings, bat guano, and aged forest products, this mix is designed for container planting indoors or on the patio, deck, or balcony.
Container-growing guidance
Transplanting: Add mix to the container, position the root ball at its existing planting depth, backfill, and water thoroughly. Use containers with drainage holes.
Established containers: Refresh the surface with fresh mix as needed, leaving room for watering and keeping soil away from the plant's stem.
Flowering and fruiting: For additional nutrition, blend in Happy Frog® Fruit & Flower Fertilizer according to its label directions.
How far does one bag go?
A 2 cu ft bag contains approximately 56.6 liters, or 15 US gallons of mix. Estimated empty-container fills:
3-gallon containers: about 5
5-gallon containers: about 3
7-gallon containers: about 2
15-gallon container: about 1
Estimates use US liquid-gallon volumes. Actual yield varies with container dimensions, settling, watering space, and the volume of existing root balls.
